FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Of course, in fact older dogs benefit from the stimulation of something new and the socialization of classes. Mature dogs are often less distracted, in tune with their human, and take readily to training.  If your dog has any health issues please let your instructor know.

Classes will strengthen the new bond between and your dog.  It will also introduce new situations in a controlled, non-threatening way.  You will also learn different ways to help her through her anxiety, and ways to deal with the undesired behavior it causes.

Unregistered dogs are welcome in class.  If you wish to continue with  other activities, such as getting a CGC certificate or title, or competing, the dog must be registered with AKC.  There are several options to getting registered, for both pure bread and mixed breed dogs.
