SHOWS AND TRIALS
The Jackson Obedience Training Club sponsors two AKC sanctioned Obedience and Rally events each year. Both shows are held indoors with enclosed, fully-matted rings and usually include four back-to-back Obedience and four Rally Trials over the weekend. “OC” matches are held on Friday and Saturday of both weekends for extra ring time and training. JULY SHOW
July 11 & 12, 2026
In July of each year, a two day show is held in Jackson at the Wahabi Temple on I-55 S. With Three fully-matted and enclosed rings, this show offers a full range of Obedience and Rally competition. Classes at this event usually include:
- Regular Obedience Classes: Novice A & B, Open A & B, Utility A & B
- Preferred Obedience Classes: Preferred Novice, Preferred Open, Preferred Utility
- Optional Titling Classes: Beginner Novice A & B, Graduate Novice, Graduate Open and Versatility
- Non-Regular Obedience Classes: Wildcard Novice, Wildcard Open, Wildcard Utility and Veterans
- Rally Classes: Rally Novice A & B, Rally Intermediate, Rally Advanced A & B, Rally Excellent A & B Rally Master and Rally Choice

In February of each year, the club sponsors a two day show for Novice Obedience, and Rally. The event is held indoors at the McKenzie Arena on the campus of Hinds Community College in Raymond, MS. With only one ring, these trials are a great venue to get started in competition.

- Obedience Classes: Novice A & B, Beginner Novice A & B, Preferred Novice, Graduate Novice
- Rally Classes: Rally Novice A & B, Rally Intermediate, Rally Advanced A & B, Rally Excellent A & B, Rally Master
